Bing Qi received his
B.A. in Physics from Nanjing University in 1990, and PhD in Optical Instrument
from Dalian University of Technology in1996. From 1996-1999, he was a Postdoctoral
Researcher in Dept. of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University.
During1999-2002, he worked as a visiting scholar in the Center for Photonics
Technology, Virginia Tech, USA. From 2002-2003, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher
in Dept. of Medical Biophysics, University of Toronto. Currently, he is a
Senior Research Associate in Quantum
Communication group and Emerging fiber-optic
technologies group, Dept. of Electrical and Computer
Engineering, University of Toronto.
Research Interests
Experimental
quantum cryptography; Quantum optics; Fiber optical sensing technology; Optical
coherence tomography.
