I am currently studying in the first year
of my PhD program at the
University of Toronto, in the field of wireless
communication and wireless networks. My supervisor,
Dr. Ben Liang,
is an accomplished researcher in the area of wireless
networks . I completed my master program in Electrical and
Computer Engineering at the
University of Alberta
under the supervision of
Dr. Chintha Tellambura in August 2007, Edmonton, Canada.
In September 2005, I received my Bachelor degrees in
Electrical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering both from
Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
Beside my study, I have been involved in many extracurricular
activities and academic or sport clubs namely I have been a
member of Toastmaster club,
Engineers Without Borders (EWB)
group [Branch of U of T],
CEDRA Rescue Robot
team,
Autonomous Robot Vehicle team (University of Alberta) and
last but not least a distinguished member of Table Tennis (TT)
Club.
My honors and awards in Table Tennis are listed as follow: Gold medal among all
Iranian junior students, 1998. Included in top 5 Iranian
junior players in 1999. Tow silver medals in the competitions held among all national universities
in Iran, 2003,2004.
two Gold medals in the province of Alberta, twice Champion of
Cooperate challenge competitions, Alberta April 2006 and 2007.
