About the opportunity

The Kundur Research Group at the University of Toronto is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a new industry-collaborative project on explainable AI for cyber-physical security.

The position involves advancing XAI-driven methods that strengthen the security, reliability and understanding of intelligent systems operating in industrial and operational technology environments.

What we’re looking for

  • Operational technology and IT/OT simulation
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Cybersecurity (asset)
  • AI governance and emerging policy (asset)

The successful candidate will conduct research, engage with external collaborators, mentor graduate students, and work closely with the PI to advance the project’s goals.
