Note about models a_sel_comb2021.slx and b_eq_comb2021.slx: both models have a filter designer block which is not connected to any of the other blocks. The purpose of that block is for you to design the filter (as directed in the outline) and EXPORT it to the workspace into a variable. After you design the filter and export it, feel free to remove the filter designer block from the model before you run the simulation.

Alternatively, in order to avoid warning/error messages related to the filter designer block, open a new model and move the filter designer block by itself there in case you wish to keep the block handy to redesign the filter. Once redesigned, you can export the new filter into the variable and assess multiple scenarios.
