Welcome to my webpage!

I am a PostDoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto (UofT), Canada, funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark through the individual PostDoctoral Fellowship entitled Skew polynomials: From Algebra to the Internet.

I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degrees in Mathematics from the University of Valladolid (UVa), Spain, in 2013 and 2014, respectively. I obtained my Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics from Aalborg University (AAU), Denmark, in 2017. My Ph.D. was funded by the project How secret is a secret?.

In 2016, I was awarded an EliteForsk Rejsestipendium (Elite Research Travel Grant in English) by The Danish Council for Independent Research (page in Danish here).

In 2018, I obtained the Ph.D. dissertation prize by the Danish Academy of Natural Sciences (Danmarks Naturvidenskabelige Akademi, DNA), and in 2019, I obtained the Vicent Caselles research award by the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society (Real Sociedad Matemática Española, RSME) and Fundación BBVA.

My research interests include: Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Coding Theory, Convolutional Codes, Distributed Computation, Distributed Storage, Information-Theoretical Security, Network Coding, Private Information Retrieval and Secret Sharing.
