Short biography Bijan Golkar received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from KNToosi university, Tehran, Iran in 2005. He received the M.A.Sc degree in 2007 from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada and the Ph.D. degree from University of Toronto in 2013. During the PhD studies he worked on self-configurable and adaptive techniques for resource allocation in autonomous cellular networks. He has also developed a practical model for the generation of shadow fading gains for realistic performance evaluation of these networks. His main research interests include wireless communications and broadband wireless networks.
